Carl B. Smith, 90, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning, February 14, 2012 surrounded by family at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center in Barnesville. He was born on May 25, 1921 in Guernsey County to the late Homer B. and Cora L. (Shipe) Smith. Carl is an Army Veteran of World War II. He is a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church and a 60 year member of Cambridge Masonic Lodge #66 F&AM . He was owner of the former C&L Auto Parts in Barnesville for 30 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers - Ralph G. and Charles H. Smith. Surviving are his wife - Joann (Evans) Smith and daughter - Suann (Phil Andes) Smith of Shadyside, Ohio. Visitation will be Thursday, February 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Rev. John Partridge will have a prayer at 8 PM on Thursday evening. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Northwood Cemetery in Cambridge, Ohio.
