Bonita Ruth Wehr, 84, of Boston, Ohio went home to be with her Lord on September 21, 2015. She was born on February 15, 1931 in Boston to the late Clarence and Daisy (Bishop) Stephens.
Ruth was a faithful member of the Boston Church of Christ. Ruth was a former employee of Jonathan Logan, Lgam, and Burns apparel. Ruth was a person of quiet strength, great faith and led by example to others. She was also a caring neighbor, good friend and had a great fondness for the people and heritage of her beloved Boston.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Wehr whom she married on April 2, 1949; infant sister, Neva; and her beloved brother, Stanley (Buddy) Stephens.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Diane (Mike) Stephens of Barnesville; grandchildren: Derrick (Brandy) Stephens and Ashley (Gabe) Hashman both of Barnesville; her precious 10 month old great-grandson, Caleb Hashman; and many friends and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 5-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:00am with Brother Mark Eikenberry. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, Ohio.
