Bonita "Bonnie" J. Gallagher, 93, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Astoria Place of Barnesville. She was born on October 4, 1924 in Barnesville to the late David and Helen (Pierce) McBurney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Gallagher on December 13, 1972; infant son, William Gallagher; four sisters, Thelma Douglass, Melissa "Mickey" McBurney, Katie Opphile, and Barbara Frasher; five brothers, George McBurney, Roy McBurney, Ben McBurney, Gene McBurney and David McBurney; son-in-law, Terry Neptune; and daughter-in-law, Sandy Gallagher. Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Helen Neptune of Barnesville; son, Joseph Gallagher of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; five grandchildren, Dawn (Mike) Warrick, Amanda (Ed) Lawrence, Noel Neptune, Michael Gallagher, and Christina Gallagher; six great-grandchildren, Devin (Tori), Dylan, Dustin, and Drayden Warrick, Sydney and Nathan Lawrence; great-great-grandson, Brantley Warrick; sister-in-law, Charlotte McBurney; and brother-in-law, Henry (Georgia) Gallagher; sister-in-law, Bonnie and Carol Gallagher. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10 AM until the time of the service at 1 PM with Fr. Dave Cornett and Pastor Bob Merritt officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
