Beverly (Dolly) Plumly, 77, of Somerton, Ohio passed away Sunday morning, January 1, 2012 at the Woodsfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 14, 1934 in Barnesville, Ohio a daughter of the late Robert Holmes and Hazel (Mercer) Howell. Dolly graduated in 1956 from the Ruth Brant School of Nursing and spent her entire career as a Registered Nurse at Barnesville Hospital where she retired in 1999. She was a member of the Somerton Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Howell. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Dale S. Plumly, Somerton, Ohio and a brother, Tommy (Cathy) Howell of Decatur, Illinois. Three sons, Jeff (Diane) Plumly of Grove City, Ohio; Joe (Julie) Plumly of Somerton, Ohio; David (Michele) Plumly, Somerton, Ohio and one daughter, Amy (Erik) Calhoun of Beaver Creek, Ohio and 14 grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, OH, where services will be held on Wednesday, January 4th at 11 am with Pastor Kim McFarland officiating.
