Betty Jane Swallie, 89, of Barnesville died Sunday 01/20/2013 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.  She was born in Monroe County on 02/10/1923 to the late Jim and Arizona (Johnson) Morris.

She was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ.  In addition to being a homemaker, she worked at the Lotus Glass Company in Barnesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 3 brothers: Roland, James and Jack Morris; 2 sisters: Elva Hanlon and Genevieve Warrick; and 2 great-grandchildren: Cole Pryor and Haven Carpenter.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Swallie; 3 Daughters: Linda (Charles) Carpenter of Barnesville, Phyllis (Art) Reed of Barnesville, and Ellen (Robert) Ward of Westerville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitiation will be held on Tuesday 01/22/2013 from 6-9pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be held on Wednesday 01/23/2013 at 12:00 with Ev. Gale Yoho officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
