Bettie J. Magee, 90, of Barnesville, Ohio died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 16, 1921 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Harrold and O'Della Rosengrant Meyers. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Washington DC and was retired from the advertising department of AAA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband-Roy Magee. Surviving are a daughter-Paulette "Polly" (John) Sawvel of Barnesville; 3 grandsons-John (Debbie) Sawvel of Toledo, Ohio, Jeff (Jessica) Sawvel of Clinton, NC and Jay (Jeannine) Sawvel of Minneapolis, MN; 4 great grandchildren-Catherine Christenson, and Mackenzie, Miranda, Alexandra Sawvel; brother-Bill (Mary) Meyers of Barnesville; and 3 nieces-Britta, Mandy and Felicia. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from Noon until time of the service at 1 pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Larry Jellison officiating.
