Bernice Irene Gracey, 88, of Barnesville, Ohio died Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Barnesville Health Care Center. She was born April 18, 1923 in Cambridge, Ohio to the late George W. and Ethel Moffett Bennett. She was a Protestant by faith. She was retired from the former Green Cottage Restaurant in Barnesville, Ohio. She is preceded in death by her husband - James J. Gracey; daughter and son-in-law - Kathryn L. and John Douglass; 3 brothers - James Bennett, George Bennett and Harold Bennett; 7 sisters - Audrey Hockenberry, Juanita Kink, Alice Thompson, Lucille Bennett, Eileen Wells, and Annabelle Callahan. She is survived by a sister - Maxine Gilfillan of Kentucky and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 from 12 until the time of the service at 1 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio with Pastor Bob Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, Ohio.
