Annabelle Plumly, 82, of Barnesville died Thursday January 24, 2013 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Wheeling, WV on 02/26/1930 to the late Francis and Florence (Bell) Pierce.
Annabelle was a 1948 Barnesville High graduate. She worked for Murphy's, the K-V store, and then with Cheffy Drugs for 14 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Jr. Women's Club, Ladies of the Elks, and the Barnesville Sewing Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William C. "Sonny" Plumly; 2 daughters: Brenda (Bill) Ault of Bellaire and Judy (Dick) Hughes of Columbus; 4 grandchildren: Kristin (Rob) Beckett of Bellaire, Karie Glenn of Treasure Island, FL, Amy (Jason) Godwin of Westerville and Craig (Leah) Hughes of Scottsdale, AZ; 7 great-grandchildren: Shaye Beckett, Nick Beckett, Madison Beckett, Shelby Glenn, Karly Glenn, Luke Godwin, and Ben Godwin; and special friend and care giver, Denise Starr.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-9pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 1:30pm with Pastor Tom Detling officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Annabelle's name to the Barnesville First United Methodist Church.
