Almeta J. Morris, 61, of Woodsfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 surrounded by family at her home. She was born on March 12, 1950 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Allen C. and Amelia (Stephen) Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Dale E. Morris (06/06/2004); brother - Kenneth Hayes; and sister - Geneva Leasure. Surviving are son - Herbert (Courtney King) Morris of Senecaville; 3 daughters - Patricia (Teddy) Steele of Jerusalem, Pamela (Kenneth) Croft of Quaker City, and Pandora (Tim) Miller of Barnesville; good friend - Duane Wells of Barnesville; brother - Gervis (Genevra) Hayes of Calais; sister - Gertrude Brown of Barnesville; and 11 grandchildren - Tiara Morris, Moriah Whitlatch, Marissa Steele, Victoria Croft, James Croft, Tyler Croft, Dale Croft, Zoey Morris, Emma Morris, Brooklyn Miller, and Owen Miller; several nieces & nephews; and sister-in-law - Judy Hayes of Temperanceville. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 2 PM with Pastor Bud Hines officiating. Burial will follow at Calais Cemetery in Calais, Ohio.
