Alice Elizabeth Truex, 87, formerly of Somerton died July 13, 2013 at Hospice of the Valley.  She was born on November 12, 1925 in Somerton to the late Delbert and Elizabeth (Sullivan) Groves.

Alice was a member of the Somerton Church of Christ but has been attending the Pine Lake Christian Church since 2005.  She was a member of the Barnesville Twig and worked at the Barnesville Health Care Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Truex; 3 brothers: John Groves, Carl Groves and James Groves; and sister, Hazel Knox.

She is survived by her 2 sons: Bob (Debbie) Truex of Atlanta, GA and Mark (Darla) Truex of Beloit, Oh; daughter, Louise (Riley) Suit of Denver, CO; 6 grandchildren: Lindsey (Pat) Carroll, Kevin (Madison) Truex, Marcus Truex, Stephanie Truex, MatthewTruex and Jeremy Truex; 3 step-grandchildren: Joan (Paul) Hahn, Nathan Suit and Amy Suit; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 from 6-8pm and Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 10am until the time of service at 11am at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with Ev. Val Roxby officiating.  Burial will follow in Somerton Cemetery.
