Thomas Allan Duvall, Sr., 69, of Jerusalem passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Tom was born on May 20, 1950 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late William A. "Tubby" and Hilda L. Workman Duvall.
Tom graduated from Union Local High School in 1968 and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Somerton United Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge Hazen #251. Tom retired after 20 years from Barnesville Schools and also retired from the Ohio State Highway Patrol Barracks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Kevin.
Tom is survived by his children: Tom (Bridgett) Duvall, Jr. of St. Clairsville and Holly (Michael E.) Carpenter of Somerton; brother, Ronald (Robin) Duvall of Bethesda; sister, Lana (Michael) Phillips of Bethesda; five grandchildren: Shawn Carpenter, Jonathan Duvall, Jason Duvall, Dominic Serrano and Landen Serrano; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2019 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio with a Masonic Service at 7:45pm. The service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11am with Pastor Mark Zimmer officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 2792 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Morristown, Ohio.
