Scott McCormick Obituary

Scott A. McCormick, 63, of Bethesda, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019. He was born on February 19, 1956, in Barnesville to Pauline "Polly" J. (Gallagher) McCormick of Bethesda and the late John Richard "Dick" McCormick.

Scott was a 1974 graduate of Union Local High School. Scott was a member of the Masonic Lodge Hazen Lodge #251, Eastern Star for 42 years and was a manager for McCormick & Sons, Inc. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Scott was a world-class hunter. He bagged game in Africa, South America, and all over North America.

In addition to his mother, Scott is survived by his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" M. (Hall) McCormick; daughter, Jessica L. McCormick; three brothers, John R. (Anita), Michael "Mike" P. (Marsha) both of Bethesda, and Jeffrey "Jeff" L. (Robin) of Westerville; and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019, from 10am until the time of the service at 2pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Bethesda Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Scott's memory to the American Heart Association, 300 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60606-6637.
