Robert F. Jefferis

Robert "Bob" F. Jefferis, 82, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at the Barnesville Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on June 9, 1937, in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Walter Jefferis and Lillian (Burkhart) Jefferis Mercer.

Bob was a member of the Barnesville Volunteer Fire Department for 21 years and lifetime member of the Operators Engineer Union. He was a great prankster and enjoyed agitating his family. He was a truck driver and a well-known master mechanic (seriously). He was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Danny Jefferis; step-father, Harlen Mercer.

Bob is survived by his wife, Sandi (Figura) Jefferis of Barnesville; children, Bobby (Peggy) Jefferis, Casey (Laurel) Jefferis, Robin Hayes, Rebecca (Angel) Cervantes; sister, Donna (James) Lee; grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Hannahs, Bobby A. (Alisha) Jefferis, Heather (Jon) Woodfin, Anastasia Hayes, T. Hayes, Zachary Jefferis, and Joshua Jefferis; 4 great-grandchildren, Cade, Colin, Kaidon, and Kaylee; step-daughter, Michelle (Darren) Russell; 2 step-grandchildren, Karlie (Bernie) Thompson and Kylie Russell; nieces & nephews, Steve, Michael, Christie, Sean, Lance, and Faith; and many great-nieces & nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Barnesville Volunteer Fire Department, 125 East Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio.
