Lydia Grace Myers, 5, of Quaker City passed away with her father on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Lydia was born in Cambridge on July 22, 2014 to Melissa (Mowery) Myers and the late Stephen Robert Myers.
Lydia was attending kindergarten at Barnesville Elementary School. She attended Harbor of Hope Church. Lydia was a prayer warrior, she loved to sing Jesus songs and lead her family in prayer and loved attending Sunday School class with her friends.
Lydia was the light of her family. She loved to sing, stuffed animals and cuddling. Lydia was so smart and loved attending school. She was a very strong and independent child. She loved to be part of her sister, Madalyn’s, Girl Scout Troop. She loved having sleepovers and spending time with Madalyn and her cousins, Ava, Lawson and Hallie at Grammy's house.
In addition to her father, Lydia is preceded in death by her great-grandmothers: Edna “Mammaw” Clark and Carol Mowery.
Lydia is survived by her mother, Melissa (Mowery) Myers; loving big sister, Madalyn Beth Meyers; paternal grandparents, Dick and Betsy Myers; maternal grandparents, Karen Mowery and Ray Mowery; great-grandparents: Pastor Charles Clark, Steve and Helen Allen, Bob and Eva Myers and Phillip L. (Jean) Mowery; cousins: Rich and Ragan Myers, Ava and Lawson Hoops and Hallie Mowery; several aunts and uncles; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at noon. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
