Evangeline Sue (Wilson) Terrett

Evangeline Sue Terrett, 57, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home. She was born on September 12, 1960 in Dover, Ohio to the late Fred Eugene and Maureen Virginia (Burdette) Wilson.

Sue was a 1978 graduate of Timken High School and in 1983 obtained a Bachelors of Pharmacy degree at Ohio Northern University, where she met her husband Chip. Sue worked at Barnesville Hospital as a pharmacist from 1989 to 1993, then at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center from 2008-2017, also contributing in many ways to the family business. Certainly her most important job, however was being an incredible, loving, full-time mom to her children from 1988 on.

She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church for 32 years. Here she was able to engage her special calling to children’s ministry. She organized and directed Ebenezer’s children’s program for 18 years. A talented writer and artist, she created original handbooks and materials for the club. There she could often be seen acting in witty, original skits or leading the kids in boisterous games.

She was a loving wife, mother, and Grammy to her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth "Libby" Wilson.

Sue is survived by her husband of 35 years, Charles "Chip" Terrett, whom she married on August 20, 1983; four children, Joseph (Nichole) Terrett of Akron, Ohio and sons, Theo and Augie, Jake (Mistie) Terrett of Barnesville, Ohio, Isaac (Mackensie Touvelle) Terrett of Barnesville, Ohio and son, Ezra, and Mary Terrett of Barnesville; and a foster son, Joshua Ault of Columbus.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 2 PM with Rev. Dr. Chuck Wilson officiating. Private inurnment will take place at a later date at Ebenezer Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
