Easton Kent Holden, 5, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital surrounded by his family. Easton was born in Pittsburgh, PA on July 28, 2014 to Wendy Dawn (Lough) Holden and the late Gregory Kent Holden, II.
Easton had attended preschool at Barnesville Elementary School. He lived life to his fullest and brought joy to all that he met with his infectious smile. He and his mom were active with their other "Heart Families" and the Ohio Valley Down Syndrome Support Group. Easton will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He was a true "Heart Warrior" who fought to the end.
Easton is survived by his mother, Wendy Holden of Barnesville; grandparents: Charles and Betty Lough of Barnesville, Gregory (Christine Polon) Kent Holden of Vienna, WV and Susan (Pat) Jackson O'Neil of Bradenton, FL; half-sister, Raya Morrison; uncles: C.J. Lough, Parker Holden and Kelby Holden; cousins: Cayden, Evan and Jack Lough and Rykr Holden; Special aunt and uncle, Michelle and Jason Brewer; godfather, Austin Cummings; many great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins and special friends; his hospital family at Pittsburgh Children's Hospital; and his special home health nurses, Vickie Kawa, Serena Travis and Anita Van Dyne who all loved him like their own.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 11am.
