Dennis Keith Huntsman

Dennis Keith Huntsman, 70, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at his home.  Dennis was born on November 21, 1947 in Barnesville to Rita (Johnson) Huntsman and the late Delbert Huntsman.

Dennis was a 1965 graduate of Barnesville High School and retired from Ohio Power.  He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2792 .  After Dennis retired, he enjoyed spending his free time outside golfing and fishing.

In addition to his father, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Huntsman and sister, Brenda Frey.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carla (Smith) Huntsman; mother, Rita (Johnson) Huntsman of Barnesville; three children: Amy (Scott) Jackson of Barnesville, Denise (Jeff) Stephens of St. Clairsville and Denny (Melissa) Huntsman of Barnesville; four grandchildren: Jona (Victor) Smith, Ashley (Joey) Green, Sydney Bruce and Zane Huntsman; five great-grandchildren: Jaxon Smith, Nixon Smith, Monreaux Smith and Maverick Green and Gentry Green; sisters, Kendra Powell and Sandy Gibson; brother, Kevin Huntsman; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11am at Crestview Cemetery with Pastor Ed Eberhart officiating.  Military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post 2792.  Dennis will be buried with his father in Crestview Cemetery.   Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
