Charles Clayton Lent, 74, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019, at his home. He was born on March 26, 1945, in Salesville, Ohio to the late Homer O. and Ida Ruth (Potts) Lent.
Charles was a farmer and alongside his wife, Carolyn, were owner's of Club 9 Bar in St. Clairsville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Rick Phillips.
Charles is survived by his wife, Carolyn (Reed) Lent; children, Cynthia "Cindy" (Kent) Stillion of Salesville and Charles Lent of Salesville; step-daughters, Holly (Jamie) Rausenburgh of St. Clairsville, Rachelle (Dave) Usenick of St. Clairsville, and Charlene Mazgai of Bloomingdale, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Yvonne (Bill) Eschbaugh and Shirley Montgomery; sister-in-law, Edith Burdette; and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at 11am with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will follow at Senecaville Cemetery in Senecaville, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Charles' memory to the American Cancer Society.
