Brenda Rose (Toohey) Thomas, 51, of Somerton, Ohio passed away on Monday, May 20, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on July 21, 1967, in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Bonnie (Francis) Benson.
Brenda had a strong passion for working at McDonalds as a crew trainer, her grandchildren, Jeff Gordon, Elvis Presley, and the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randall Lee Toohey; and many aunts & uncles.
Brenda is survived by her daughters, Starsha Thomas of Somerton and Kandea (Timmy) Binegar of Barnesville; step-son, Christopher Wilcox of Somerton; grandchildren, Christopher, Elane, Gage, Shasta, Laymon, and Aurora; siblings, Sandra (Gene) D. Rife, Barbara S. Toohey, Paul D. Butch (Richette) Toohey, Rita J. Toohey; fiance, Mark Wilcox; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews; and her cats, Elvis and Priscilla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019, from 9 AM until the time of the service at 12 PM with Pastor Kevin Campbell officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Chestnut Level Cemetery in Belmont, Ohio.
