Barbara Leona Riser

Barbara Leona Riser, 89, of Quaker City, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 3, 1927 in Hot Springs, California to the late Robert Orlando and Mattie Caroline (Stuller) Belden.

Barbara was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle in Cambridge.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George R. Riser, Sr on May 1, 1996; a son, George R. Riser, Jr on October 9, 2016; and six siblings.

Barabara is survived by her four children, Sharon Giesey of Quaker City, Patricia (Robert) Kerns of Quaker City, Mark Riser of Lloydsville, and Barb (Richard) Butler of Byesville; a daughter-in-law, Rosalie Riser of Quaker City, eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; several nieces & nephews; and a very dear friend, Mollie Dudley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm with Pastor Mark Mealick officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
