To Kay and all the Chaney family. I first met Bill Chaney about 1975 through Charlie Doan. I eventually went to work for Doan Ford and Bill Chaney was the attorney who reviewed my contract from my Attorney in Youngstown. All I can say is I became friends with both Bill and Kay Chaney and I am a better person for that friendship. He was truly a gentle man and no doubt from my first impression an honest and caring person as well as an attorney. I look back and think of SOOOOO many fun times having dinner with them at Belmont Hills. Bill Chaney no doubt is seated real close to the Lord. I will this day light a candle for Bill at our local church here in Venice, Fl. Kay and children I pray for Bill and I pray for all of you to gain the strength you need to get through this. Barnesville, Ohio is a MUCH better community having Bill Chaney as one of their own. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOUR SOUL BILL

To put into words who and what bill chaney was just can't be done. I know that I was blessed to be able to call him my father and can strive only to be a fraction of the good soul that he was. I thank everyone for their love and support now at our time of loss and sorrow as well as everyday that the wonderful community of Barnesville embraced him as he gracefully bowed out of life as he knew it and took care of his loving wife and prepared for the next chapters of his life
I will forever be grateful and unable to repay, live up to, or match the life he lived, shared and gave to myself and my family. Rest In Peace pooh. Your bird will forever hold you in her heart

Memories too numerous to list, that's what you get when you grow up next door to Bill and Kay Chaney! A great man, a fun person, a dedicated citizen, all words to describe him...the world's a little sadder due to his passing. Love to K, Lynda, Danny, and their families.
