Wayne D. Parker, 82, of Belmont, Ohio died Friday, March 11, 2016 at Arden Courts of Westlake, Ohio. Wayne was born in Belmont, Ohio on April 2, 1933 to the late Henry Wayne and Mae (Davis) Parker.

Wayne is a US Army Veteran who was stationed in Germany where he worked in military intelligence during the Korean Conflict.  He is a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ in Barnesville.  Wayne worked  for Valley Camp Coal Company and later retired as a property manager from Shell Oil and Cravat Coal Company. Wayne was the former mayor of Belmont and was a member Ducks Unlimited, Buckmasters, Bethesda Sportsman's Club, National Pike Knife Club, a lifelong member of the NRA, and founding chairman of the Ohio Valley Friends of NRA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Parker; and brother, James W. Parker.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Sharon (Ray) LaMarca of N. Olmstead, Ohio; three grandchildren: Michele LaMarca of Cincinnati, Janette (Jack) Wuestefeld of Cincinnati and Ray (Tracy) LaMarca of Cincinnati; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothers: Jerry L. (Sharon) Parker of Florida and Larry A. (Alexa) Parker of Belmont; sister-in-law, Jean Parker of Columbus; and brother-in-law, James (Sheila) Orrison of Harold, Ky.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.  The service will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11am with Ev. Val Roxby officiating.  Burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery where Guernsey County Veterans Council will conduct military services.
