Stanley Dawson Shores, 90, of Blue Ash, Ohio died Monday, November 23, 2015. He was born in St. Johnsbury, VT on November 10, 1925 to the late Stanley and Dorothy (Church) Shores.
Stanley grew up in the suburbs of Boston and New York City before coming to the Midwest to attend Purdue University. After graduating college, he was employed by Proctor and Gamble in the market research department for 37 years. Upon retirement, he devoted his time to his many interests, the stock market, antiques of all types, watching birds out the large kitchen window in Blue Ash, and reading financial newsletters.
He is survived by his wife Beverly (Mann) Shores of Blue Ash; five nieces and three nephews: Eartha (Gene) McClelland of Penngrove, CA, Pam Walsh of Bernard, Maine, Pam (Mel) Milburn of Barnesville, Ohio, Nancy (Chip) Stork of Dayton, Ohio, Terry (Elaine Warner) Young of Cincinnati, Don (Lydia) Young of Advance, MO, Lindsay Mann-King of Bellingham, WA and Peter Mann-King of Pittsburgh.
According to Stanley's wishes, there will be no services held. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
