Helen Mae (Walker) Tickhill

Helen Mae Tickhill, 89, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Emerald Pointe Nursing & Rehab. She was born on April 18, 1926 in Barnesville, Ohio to the late Ray Donald and Grace (Gibson) Walker.

Helen was a member of the Barnesville First United Methodist Church and the former Junior Homemakers Club.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband - Walter Henry Tickhill; daughter - Lisa Mae Tickhill; and siblings - Mary Donna Slagle, Blanche Summers, Ruth Beals, Jeanne Giffin, Jack Walker, and Tim Walker.

She is survived by her children - Terry Tickhill Terrell of Masonville, CO and Les (Lori) Tickhill of Barnesville; grandchildren - Melissa (Andy) Nugent of Barnesville and their children, Kailey, Ella, and Finn and Justin (Emily) Tickhill of Mansfield and their children, Walter and Henry (on the way); and several nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 12 PM until the time of the service at 2 PM with Rev. Ted Buehl officiating at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Hendrysburg, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to the Barnesville Community Foundation Depot Committee or the Barnesville Hospital ER Fund.
