Georgianna (Brownfield) Starr

Georgianna Starr, 95, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Walton Retirement Home. She was born on May 10, 1921 in Calais, Ohio to the late James and Blanche (Carpenter) Brownfield.

Georgianna was a member of the West Main Street Church of Christ and Cypress Twig.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edward M. Starr on June 11, 2009; twin sons, Herbert and Hubert Starr; daughter, Judy Wise; grandson, Eric Wise; granddaughter, Amy Starr; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Georgianna is survived by her daughter, Helen (J.K.) Larrick of Cambridge; grandchildren, Jayne McPeek, Jorja Wise Johnson, Jon (Chris) Wise, Jill (Lars) Johnson, Chris (Mindy) Larrick, Tony (Julie) Starr, and Angela (Chris) Pack; 17 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Lou Broomhall and June Hanson; son-in-law, Jerald Wise; her church family; many nieces, nephews, & friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2016 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Monday, July 4, 2016 at 11 AM with Jamie Helmick and Patrick Gampp officiating. Burial will follow at Calais Cemetery in Calais, Ohio.
