Dorothy M (Brownfield) Long

Dorothy M. Long, 87, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Barnesville Hospital. She was born on July 26, 1930 in Belmont County to the late James "Dink" and Birdie (Carpenter) Brownfield.

Dorothy was a member of the West Main Street Church of Christ. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her Golden Girl friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Long on February 1, 1976; son-in-law, Lowell Willison; four brothers, William Brownfield, Lloyd Brownfield, Harold Brownfield, and Ellis Brownfield; and three sisters, Jessie Ralston, Vesta VanFossen, and Emma Jean Brownfield.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters, Connie Willison of Barnesville and Sheila (Scott) Huntsman of Salesville; special son, Bobby (Paula) Long of Marietta, Oklahoma, special niece who was like a daughter, Judy Powell of Barnesville; grandchildren, Scott (Wendy) Willison, Lisa (Corey) Tacosik, Mandy (Bobby) Blackburn, and Tony (Alana) Huntsman; ten great-grandchildren, Nathan, Tyler, Lauren, Wil, Ranen, Rhys, Ariana, Brayden, Peyton, and Paige; and many nieces & nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 North Chestnut Street, Barnesville, Ohio where services will be held on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11 AM with her grandsons, Ev. Tony Huntsman and Scott Willison officiating. Burial will follow at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City.
