Daniel Keith Starr, 72, of Jerusalem died Thursday, August 18, 2016 at his home. Daniel was born in Temperanceville, Ohio on February 6, 1944 to the late Tim and Golden (Fisher) Starr.
Daniel was a 1963 graduate of Barnesville High School. He was retired from R&F Coal Company where he worked as an electrician and mechanic. He also worked for Bahmer Trucking. Daniel enjoyed spending time at the Barnesville and Batesville American Legion talking to all the regulars. He enjoyed being outside and spending time with his family. Daniel was famous for his homemade french fries!
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Mae Greenwood Starr; mother and father-in-law, Elmer and Gladys Greenwood; siblings: Bernard Starr, Bob Starr, Dick Starr, Irene Boyd and Norma Wehr; and brother-in-law, Kenny Stephen.
Daniel is survived by his three children: Debbie (Tim) Hall of New Albany, Stephanie Starr of Columbus and Tim (Tanis) Starr of Columbus; five grandchildren: Alisha (John) Santos, Alli Hall, Seth Starr, Jessica Starr and Kortnie Starr; great-grandson, Benny Santos; sister, Dee Stephen; brother, Jack Starr; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Daniel's life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 1-4pm at the Barnesville Elks, 117 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio.
