Carolyn Sue Jefferis, 74, of Barnesville died Saturday, August 6, 2016 at her home. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on February 9, 1942 to the late James W. and Betty (Boyd) Mann.
Carolyn was a member of the Assumption Church in Barnesville. She was a 1960 graduate of Barnesville High School and owner of the former Timberline Hunting Preserve.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. Jefferis.
Carolyn is survived by son, Gary J. (Theresa) Jefferis of Barnesville; three daughters: Kim (Bill) Shumaker, Karen (John) Clouse and Kathy (Greg) Burkhart all of Barnesville; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother Bill (Kay) Mann of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4-8pm at Campbell-Plumly-Milburn Funeral Home, 319 N. Chestnut St., Barnesville, Ohio. The service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 10:30am with Rev. Tom Detling officiating. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
